Ella – Adopted to Her Forever Home!!

Ella is a 22-year-old Off-The-Track Thoroughbred Mare. Ella had a short racing career with her Jockey Club name as “Miz Audacious”. She ends up becoming a broodmare because of her good genes and great looks. We just discovered recently Ella had 8 foals. Once her last foal was weaned, she ended up in the Kill Pen. We rescued her and not long after arrival she had a foal scare, but we later got her tested and she was not pregnant. Therefore, her stomach is so big from having that many babies and will always be like that. From her having 8 babies she has a hip issue when trotting/ cantering for more than 2 minutes. She had a rough life having all those babies, so it is time for her just to relax. She is such a sweetheart and will never catch her being mean to another horse. She loves attention and is definitely photogenic as you can see in these pictures. Ella loves to play in water; you can often catch her relaxing in the pond. You never really hear about her because she is a soft-spoken horse always doing her own thing or hanging out with Bentley. You will most likely see her in the front yard of the house. Ella is a hard keeper. She was partially sponsored by Jordan G. who adopted out Devlin and Wanda while she was here at rescue. Ella has found her forever home on July 8, 2022. She has been here at the rescue for YEARSSS because she is an extremely hard keepers and her paper soles. Many people would look over her for her little more advance needs but thankfully she has found a wonderful home with Ann. Ann reached out to us because her companion horse passed away, so she needed another companion horse. Ella caught her eye with not only her beauty but with how soft spoken she is. We love the updates we have gotten from her family already showing that Ella and their other horse have already bonded! We wish Ella and Ann to make the best memories and adventures to come!
