Ava – Adopted to Her Forever Home!!
Ava is a 15-year-old Thoroughbred Mare who stands at 15.4 hands. Her original owner passed away and a family member reached out to us. Without hesitation we said yes to taking her and who we think is her mom, Dutchess. They said she was 18 years old, and she was possibly an Arabian Cross. Well, we randomly decided to look inside her mouth one day and found that she has a lip tattoo. Her Jockey Club name is “Wild Cotton”, but she never raced. Ava has been in foster care since about May with Shannon. She came to the rescue interested in a companion horse for her horse who is also a thoroughbred. It was love at first sight between the two of them. You could see the immediate bond. On June 12,2022 Shannon made it official that Ava who is now called Ava Mae will be a part of her life forever with Millie. We wish Shannon and Ava Mae the best of luck making new memories and loving life together forever!
