PeeWee – Adopted to His Forever Home
PeeWee is a 2 year old Colt Welsh/Arab Cross Pony who stands at 12 hands. He isn’t expected to get much larger when he is full grown. Peewee was brought to the rescue along with 2 mini mules and a donkey (who were re-homed), the owners did drive by drop off. After being here for a couple of weeks he injured his knee but it didn’t look serious. He got treated with treatment and antibiotics for the small wound but also for swelling. The swelling seem to not be going down. He was taken to Dr. Garrett’s barn for x-rays and a ultrasound. It was looking like a tendon has been slightly involved. He had also developed a bit of arthritis in his knee joint as well. He has to go to NC State Veterinary School to get a full scope of his knee. He has fully healed! He sweet yearling who loves to be around people! He has excellent confirmation and ground manners. PeeWee has been adopted to his forever home.
