Wildfire – Adopted to Her Forever Home
Wildfire is a 3 year old Standardbred Mare who stands at 15.1 hands. She was a little bundle of surprise. She was born on April 16, 2017 it just so happened she was born on Easter. Her mother Liza Jane who was rescued and adopted out to an elderly woman without having any knowledge that she was pregnant. Liza Jane showed no signs of being pregnant; the vet didn’t even notice.Liza Jane, WIldfire, and Forrest, a horse the lady already owned, had surrendered to LMHR. Wildfire is a little Diva who just wants love. She makes sure we are always on our toes. If you don’t show her enough love she will throw a little kick like it’s nothing. She lets us know she is hungry by pushing the door making loud noises, it’s the diva in her! She is bigger than her mom. She was sent to our trainer John Clark for 30 days of professional training where she was clear of under saddle and certained some manners. Wildfire has come a long way due to Training but also maturing she doesn’t have such an attitude. She is quite the beauty (she gets it from her mother). She loves to receive attention and is very photogenic. She was adopted to her forever along with Blaze the 3 year old Quarter Horse who moved all the way to Montana. They are enjoying the beautiful scenery and their neighbors are cows. The funny thing is Blaze has watched the cowboys and horses herd the cows so he tends to herd Wildfire at times.
