Tino Rossi – Adopted to His Forever Home
Tino Rossi is a 19 year old Off-the-Track Thoroughbred Gelding who stands at 16.2 hands. We decided to keep his jockey name. He made $58,5324 during his racing career with 29 starts. When his racing career was only he most likely used an eventer, jumper, or type of a sport horse. When he could not make the jumps anymore he ended up at Slaughter in Pennsylvania. He was saved at the same time we saved Francis so when they went to quarantine together they formed a strong friendship. When getting an evaluation at quarantine they realized that he needed a front bottom tooth removed because a horse kicked him in the mouth and knocked his tooth out of place. It was leaning into his lip making him very uncomfortable but once it was removed he was out of pain. When they arrived here at the rescue we kept them together since they were so close. Not long after rehabilitating both of them Francis found a forever home but Tino Rossi became upset. Thankfully he found his forever home not too long after Francis did! He is now pasture mates with Lucy.
