Stormy – Adopted to His Forever Home!!
Stormy is a 15 year old Arabian X Quarter Gelding. Stormy was dropped off at the rescue by our local animal control on Halloween 2021. When horses like Stormy are this severe the rescue helps take them in to fully rehabilitated them. He was a 1 on the body scale. He is a super gentle horse who is only interested in receiving love and making other horse friends. He will need a lot of love and grain to fully rehabilitated him along with shots, farrier visit, and a good teeth floating. Stormy is almost fully rehabilitated! He is a sweet angel who adores anyone who will love him love. He is pretty low on the pecking order so sometimes he does get picked on by other horses but we’re hoping when he is fully rehabilitated he will stand up for himself! He have learned that Stormy does have light asthma but it be kept under control with a little Dex, it’s not costly. Once Stormy is fully rehabilitated he will get a riding evaluation and will be up for adoption. He has been fully rehabilitated into a nice looking horse. Carrie has had her eye on Stormy since he arrived here at the rescue. She was supporting him through his rehabilitation. Once she saw he was ready for adoption she was quick to reach out about giving him a forever home. She has previously adopted out Hero, Dixie, and Chippewa so we knew he was going to a great home to give him unconditional love and feed! We wish Stormy and Carrie the best on their journey!
