Sammy – Adopted to His Forever Home
Sammy is an 18-year-old Belgium Gelding who stands at 18 hands. Sammy was one of the three Belgians saved from the kill pen along with Junior and Big Mack. Sammy is a ex-Amish work horse who would plow the fields, it is hard work and many plow horses are over worked. Sammy is a very sweet, curious boy who loves to be around people. Due to lameness, he cannot be ridden, but would make a wonderful companion horse. He was going to become a permanent resident here but Mary V. and her daughter Amelia are wonderful people who offered him a home.
