Jammer – Adopted out to His Forever Home!!
Jammer is a 17 year old Quarter Horse Gelding who stands at 14.6 hands. Jammer is a local surrender case from a loving family who were all out of options to take care of him. The family wanted to make sure he had a safe place to land with no chance of end up at an auction or a kill pen. He was well taken care of and is a happy, healthy gentlemen. He was a pasture mate to a mini who recently passed away. They didn’t ride him for a few years so we knew he needed a riding evaluation. After his riding evaluation we learned that he was still sound and was a good boy! He does need an intermediate rider as he is a little head strong. He tried to get away with little stuff but with an intermediate rider it will keep him align. He made friends with Gretel and Hansel (the minis) quickly as it reminded him of his old friend. He often talked to the other horses over the fence. He found a home very quickly as Robert and his wife were a perfect fit. They were interested in another horse at the time but once we introduced them to Jammer they fell in love. Jammer loves his new home and he has a lovely girlfriend now!
