Iffy – Found His Forever Home with Diva!!

Iffy or his USTA name “If All Else Fails” is an 19-year-old Standardbred Gelding who stands at 15.2 hands. Iffy has been saved from the Slaughter Pipeline before by another rescue. The rescue that had him prior to being sold to a kill buyer has a contract stating the adopter can sell the horse after a year. The individual who adopted him from that rescue sold Iffy after a year to a dealer/ kill buyer or took him to auction where the kill buyer most likely won the bid. You can see at the auction most of the time a horse that is 18 years old or older will end up with a kill buyer for Slaughter. This time LMHR saved Iffy making sure it will not never end up in the Slaughter Pipeline again! Iffy has turned into a companion horse after recently finding out that Iffy has dropped pasterns. He could be ridden slightly but to make sure he is not in any pain he is a Companion Horse. Iffy is looking for his loving forever home! He has a great big personality! He loves to run around with Sweet Candy Man. He is such a people person horse who adores attention whether it is speaking to him or giving him some love. He can be a little shy at first but once he warms up to you, he is a real sweetheart. Iffy was adopted out to his forever home with his recent best friend Diva who we saved from auction. Iffy lost his close friend Tilly due to an injury trying to run from the neighbor’s fireworks. He connected to Diva and stayed by her hip. They will both be permanent residents at Red Feather Farm where they are being given unconditional love and treats!
