Update August 10, 2016 — After a long weekend and busy first part of the week we are excited to announce that Gretchen has found her forever home, in South Carolina, with BillieJo and her family! This woman couldn’t be any more inspiring to the people around her, and the connection she has with Gretchen is obvious! We can’t wait to hear updates on Gretchen – and we can’t think of a more deserving girl or family!
Gretchen is 14-year-old, 15 hand Paint Mare who came to the rescue in March 2016. She is shy but is broke to ride. When Gretchen first arrived she was afraid, and depressed, and she pinned her ears at everyone. She has gained weight, and is learning to trust again and is overcoming her shyness. The rescue has been entrusted to find her a loving, forever home.
