Eugene – Donkey 5yrs. I was told about Eugene when he was listed on Craigslist, no pic was posted that was because when I arrived to look at the little guy he had very long hooves and I could feel every bone in his hips and hindquarters. Instead of arguing with the man who had other horses I paid the 100.00 and loaded him into the trailer, Eugene was lethargic. Dr Garrett did a blood panel on Eugene, he was very anemic to the point I was told a couple more weeks and he may not have made it. Eugene continues to have separation in his front left hoof which he continues to have problems from, so he is a permanent resident.
