Mack Ten – Companion Horse – In Need of Sponsors!

Mack Ten is a 18 year old Standardbred Gelding who stands at 15.3 hands. We decided to keep his racing name as his name. Mack Ten didn’t have a long racing career as he only had 1 start. He most likely got hurt racing and instead of the owner waiting on him to heal they took him to Amish. He was a Amish horse for several years before ended up in a kill pen. He was one of 30 Standardbreds who found themselves in the kill pen at the same time. The rescue took in Mack Ten along with Artie the Standardbred. They arrived here on November 6, 2022 at midnight! He may have devolving DSLD which doesn’t bother him but he is strictly companion. Making him a companion horse will keep ensure he is comfortable. He has a sweet personality who loves to make new friends. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He often just does with the flow and will stand up for himself when needed. He loves to receive attention from our volunteers along with scoring himself some treats. Since his friend Artie went and found love Mack Ten decided to make some new friends. Mack Ten is currently in a foster home. The beautiful paint is Mack Ten’s new girlfriend Faith. They instantly connected once he arrived. They are already bonded at the hip. He is still adoptable.
