Cumunjo is an 18-year-old ex-Amish buggy horse saved from Slaughter. Cumunjo (aka JoJo) stands at 15.3 hands and is a Standardbred, who pounded the pavement for years, before ending his career standing in a kill pen. Jo-Jo has been with us for over a year, and he has a permanent indentation in his nose as a result of the Amish “tie-down” method which is so restrictive that the horse can’t move normally. Despite being 18-years-old, Cumunjo wants to continue to do some light work as a riding horse instead of buggy. He is broke to ride and is looking forward to the lighter work ahead! If you are looking for a steady and dependable partner, Cumunjo would be the perfect fit for you!
